So can anyone tell me why exactly birthdays are supposed to be 'happy'?  Because seriously, knowing that I'm one year older? SUCKS.  Nothing good ever came from getting old dammit.

Aww, thank you hun! I usually give her about four ounces a day? Something like that. If I miss the day before I'll usually give her double, but somewhere around thereabouts.

Haku, that's what they do. Granted yes, the option to join in when you're of age is just a nice fluffy bit of bullshit. What they don't tell you is that if you don't join of your own accord and go off into another field of study....if you show the potential they hunt and track you until you're in your twenties and past your prime. They have entire divisions whose sole purpose is such a thing.

...And why don't you say something if you're hungry dammit. I tell you brats to come to me for a reason. There should be plenty of stuff in the apartment, and if you go in the freezer, there's a small container to the rear.
