Boooo Cadbury
Cadbury chocolate was the best. chocolate. evar. Way better than the rubbish sold as chocolate in the US. :P
BUT. They've gone and changed the recipe on us, replacing cocoa butter with "vegetable fats" (read: Palm oil) and reducing the size of the blocks but not the price.
We stumbled across a store selling the old blocks, so we bought six of them. And in the name of science we had to perform a taste test comparison. So we bought one block of the new stuff.
The flat, lame looking chocolate at the bottom is the new version:
Our conclusion is that the new stuff is utterly crap and neither of us really wants to finish the block! The new stuff has less sugar in it, but is sickly sweet and oily to boot. Not smooth and creamy like the old stuff. What on EARTH am I going to do when the stash of old chocolate runs out??! *stress panic*
