Writer's Block: Things You Don't Want to Know
It depends on who that friend is. If he/she is close to me, I would tell her/him because it's just wrong to pretend to not know anything when it is something so serious. If she/he is not a close friend, I wouldn't tell the person because it is not my place and he/she might not believe me.
