I'm really getting reemed here.

So, I've been home at my folk's house for the past two weeks. Apparently, my dad is upset with me. I know I don't have a plan together. I'm just a little out of it. I had been living on my own for a while now and I need to get used to matching up schedules. I have been doing some minor housework, nothing to rave over but some minor stuff for when it is needed. I have been spending a lot of time trying to find a job. I have looked and turned about 7 applications and will be turning in more once I finish the four on my desk. I really need a job. I don't care what it is at this point, but I need something. I will spend my days going house to house being a carpetbagger if I have to. I need money for school!
I finished cleaning my bike up. I think the back tire needs to be trued and I don't have the spoke wrench to do it with. I know the brakes will need to be attached to both the front and the back. The handle bar looks as good as I can get it. It is still all gunked up, but it is a lot less sticky than it was before. You'd pick it up, set it down and touch something else and practically be cemented to the object you touched. It was ridiculous. So, I spent a good two days scrubbing it because the last guy who had it decided that attaching the brake cables underneath the handlebar tape was a good idea. On top of that, attaching the brake cables to the handlebar with duct tape seems like an even better idea. Beyond that, they must have never cleaned off the handlebar ever before putting on the tape. Handlebar tape is just that. It is a tape. Usually, you put tape on two clean surfaces to bind them together. In this case, one side of the tape is sticky while the other has a cushion-like feel to the grip. Well, this tape has to the original. There was so much corrosion or dirt underneath the tape that the tape did not come off cleanly. Large chunks remained firmly on the handlebar. I may take one of my dad's metal buffer drill bits and go over the whole handlebar to get it nice and shiny. With all the trouble I have gone through with my moped and this bicycle, I am beginning to lose my faith in people. How can other people not go through all the trouble of maintaining their own equipment to keep it in running order?
