Coming to an End

So I just got off the phone with Paja. She's spending the week coaching a camp at St. bonnies. She was just telling me how glad she was that she didn't go there. Apparently the dorms are really shitty. I feel bad that she was kind of guilted into doing this camp. She doesn't even like coaching, ironically enough. She just does it for the money, except this time she's doing it for free for a favor to Coach.

I go home on Friday so my entries will probably be fewer and father between than they already have. I get my surgery the following Monday. I'm bringing home plenty of stuff to read so I hope that will keep me entertained. I wish I was going home and would be able to go out and party, but I don't think I'll be able to party for a while after. I also need to find a place here in Buffalo where I can get physical therapy.

I called Lauren yesterday. It was awesome to talk to her again. We're both kinda fed up with some people. We've agreed that we're over those who think they're better then everyone else and those who will never grow up. Granted I haven't been the poster child for maturity lately, but I also know that I'm going to have to give up all this fun eventually. Until then I'll do what and who I want, when I want. At this time of our lives we're allowed to be selfish. I've been self-sacrificing for so long that now is my time to kick back and enjoy the remainder of my youth. And that's exactly what I intend to do... after my sugery...

Tuesday is our final "real" session. I can't believe its all coming to an end. My last 3 summers have been spent here in Buffalo doing the Orientation thing. I don't think if I had the chance to change it I would. I've met amazing people and have had some crazy experiences thanks to the staffs and the freshman a like. Granted, I haven't been as into it this year. Well, I'm really into the staff, I just don't take the time to talk to the Freshman. Essentially because I don't care. I'm too old to be pals with 17 and 18 year olds.

Anyways, thanks to the o-staffs past and present. You guys are all amazing!
