The secret places
secret corners are where the magic whispers, laughs, cavorts.
A grey cat winks and in that glowing golden orb of his eye he offers a contract -
to show you what he sees -
under an Autumn leaf that has melted into stains on the pavement -
in the damp footprint of that lichen spotted rock -
it seethes
and bursts forth
and hides again in the secret places
