Hey gals and pals, and boys and toys,
I had to watch Daybreakers for my newspaper review, and it was WHAAAACK. I loooooove vampires and am a super freak about them (I don't like Twilight though. Yuck), but Daybreakers was SOOO LAUGHABLE. The atmosphere was very cool and so was the concept, but there were so many stupid parts. Don't read the rest of this paragraph if you're planning on watching it. They're not major spoilers, but if you like to be minorly surprised in the movie, don't read this: THE ARMY GUY THEY OPERATED ON JUST VOMITED IN A NURSE'S FACE. IT DID NOT MAKE SENSE. OH MY GOD. Then he started going crazy, so they tried to fix him. When they thought everything was okay, HE BLEW UP! And there was this stupid BAT that flew out of nowhere a bajillion times during the movie and it would SCREECH and make Mindy jump in the seat next to me. This old guy in front of us went, "THAT GOD DAMNED BAT!" And Cho and I couldn't stop LAUGHING. The guy in front of us MADE THE MOVIE WORTH IT. Oh my God. He would laugh at the oddest times, which made me snort and guffaw uncontrollably. It was amazing.
The OK Go album was good. It was like I was on an acid trip when I was listening to it.
But MAN OH MAN. DAYBREAKERS. HAHAHAHAHA I laugh just thinking about it. The old guy's eight year old son walked out of the movie saying, "That stupid bat was the scariest part of the whole movie."
HAHA OH MY GOD.
My Dad finally watched Boondock Saints with me and he liked it! YAY!
