And for now, I'm out of the hideout
The partial iPod bill came today...also on my credit card bill are my concert tickets and various other small charges...which means I owe an outrageous amount of money. So I went to the bank to make a withdrawal the other day, thinking (since I haven't been shopping in many weeks) that I would have a couple hundred in my checking account. My back-up was to dip into my savings account, which I also figured was pretty loaded. $75 in my checking, $74 in my savings. My life savings is 74 dollars. I owe $250 for my bill, $100 on Wedenesday for car insurance, and Lindsey's birthday is on the sixth. My mother's is on the ninth. (On a side note, mine is on the 31st :)) So that is my financial situation. To make matters worse, for the past two weeks my boss has given me 5.5 hours a week. 7 bucks an hour. You do the math.
I've been thinking about super random things...like do you ever just get a glimpse of some moment you remember and then you get all sad because you miss it?
-I miss that feeling when Lindsey and I spend the morning playing on the beach, and I get all warm and tired and there was sand in my trunks and I felt mildly burnt, and then we would go back to the hotel and shower and get all clean and put on pretty clothes so we could go out that night.
-I miss the days I was best friends with my cousins...and we would go to the rollar rink and we would watch Tommy Boy.
-Does anyone remember when we went to Gettysburg? Because I sure do...and Sam and I listened to Heather Nova on the long bus ride there and one night we went on a ghost tour and we prayed really really hard that the spirits would appear to us, but they never did. And someone taught me how to swim in the pool because I didn't know how...it was probably Sam.
-Italy. Italy Italy Italy. I was trying to think of a special moment I remembered...but for some reason all I could think about was that night in Florence when I felt really sick and Jen and Ellie stole some trail mix and brought it to me. I miss Italian MTV.
Anyway. I'm stoked to go to Boston tommorow and have a sweet time. I'm pretty excited for vacation in general. Sam and I are going to see Sarah Harmer...every time I listen to her I get really excited because I love her voice and I think she's going to put on a spectacular show.
