I'm going away!
Things are planned and almost packed and ready! Tomorrow Aulden and I leave for Cherokee, NC for two nights in a cabin by the river. We did some shopping today, which was fun. We both got new swimsuits since neither of us had ones that fit anymore (oops). Some of the cool items we purchased today were: a campfire coffee pot (which makes the best coffee ever), a pink mini mag lite for me, and some stuff to throw in the fire to change the colors of the flames. That sounds like a lot of fun to me! We also got the much needed sunscreen. We already have bug repellant, but we got a few citronella candles to help keep bugs away from the food. Ah, yes. This is going to be great, I hope! I didn't bring my painting things with me, much to my dismay. I was so ready to leave school that I forgot my canvas pad. I do have my sketch pad, and a few good books. But, I must go to bed now since I have to get up early to make sure I've packed everything on my end.
