~lmao. It's okay.~ Cool ~And yes, that is true. He's really only helped Ianto. Well, that that girl possessed by the alien gas, I guess. lmao.~ Yeah, but the gassed girl wasn't a team mate or close friend. I'm sure if Jacks really been at Torchwood 3 for 90+ years, he's helped others, as part of his Torchwood vocation. But Iantos the only personal contact, someone he knows and mostly likes, who he's been able to help. He couldn't help Estelle, nor Owen, and he wasn't with the Doctor and Rose when Rose needed help, so if he could help the Doctor with Roses gift, that would maybe bring him a little more ..closure. ~And about the thing I saw on BBC Prime, I meant DW. Not QAF. I saw that on an Icelandic channel when I was like I can't remember. lmao.~ OH, Oops..sorry. ~But I was like OMG, Stuart and Nathan, but then when I saw it later I was all about the Stuart & Vince because I saw that it'd never work with him and Nathan. lol.~ I think to work, the relationship needed one of the two involved to be some what mature, with Stuart and Nathan, neither were very mature (Nathan having the excuse of being 15). Whereas with Stuart and Vince, Vince took the role of the mature one. ~But yeeesss, Brian and Justin. *Squee* I wasn't sure I would like the U.S version because they so often screw up the remakes. But damn, I love it. Heeee.~ Justin and Brian work because Justin is mostly very mature, and smart, and because the actors have an obvious chemistry together. At 17 Justin is often more mature than Michael and Lindsey. Mhmm, yes, I believe the US show Will and Grace was based on another RTD one, but thought I liked Will and Grace (though John Barrowman would have made a far better Will), It was nothing like the original UK version. ~Didn't at first see what the hub-bub was about Brian at first, but then I saw it and now I'm just, he's so niiiceee. lmao.~ Apart from being as sexy as sin, Brian wears a mask of being an uncaring arsehole, pretty much due to never having even one person who loved him unconditionally. However he does so many things for all his friends, and his community, it's almost unbelievable that his close friends don't realise that it is just a mask. The only one of Brian's group who does see this, before Justin arrives seems to be Emmett. ~But I still think Nathan is way hotter than Justin. lol. And I LOVE Debbie. She is so awesome.~ Live and let live, I think Justin is hotter than Nat. Debbie is the quintessential fag hag! :: HUGs Debbie :: ~Though the U.S version is a bit more soapy but hehe, I tend to love teh soap. Man, almost everything I write goes soapy. I try not to, but it just ends up really soapy. lmao.~ Strangely I found the US version a little more believable, what with Vince and Stuart flying off in their car, appearing in the US and then Stuart getting away with pointing guns at homophobes? jmho ~Ah. Sorry. We call basically everything school here in Iceland. lol. And yes, that does sound like a lot.~ Tis ok, my American friends are forever doing it too, I think it really must be a British thing. ~And trust me, I really don't understand my profession either. So I'm not great at the explaining. Plus, it's a dying thing so I'm working in a Supermarket whole looking for the interny thing. The fun! I'm a computer person, not a work-in-a-supermarket stackin fruits or takin care of salad bar person. I don't think I'll be able to stand if for much longer. lol.~ :: HUGs :: Though over here, once you have degree you actually can't get a job in a supermarket, because you're over qualified! Never mind that you need money just as much as the next person :: growls at inverted snobs :: Oops sorry, rant over... ~I want to get of this rock. lmao. I do love my country and all proud of it and stuff, but it's just you know not me. lmao. Relatives kid that I was born in the wrong country. I don't even have an Icelandic accent when speaking English, but an American one. *Pouts*~ I'd rather have a Welsh or Southern Irish accent. Wouldn't mind living in Portugal or Canada, but I don't think there are many places more *open-minded* than the UK. (continued in next post...)
~Wish it had been a British one. lmao. But I guess I watched more American than British Tv when I was younger. Cartoon Network. lmao.~ Could be worse, you could have watch nothing but Eastenders and ended up with a sudo Cockney accent ;) ~Anyways es, about the QAF DVD's. lol. See, I wanted to see the American version forever, but I was like what would my parents think because back then I would have had to ask her to order it for me. lmao. But then I found a place that could order for me and stuff, and I was like What the fuck. lmao. Like seriously, and now I haz QAF (UK), Sugar Rush and 1 - 3 of QAF (U.S).~ What's Sugar Rush? QaF 4 is pretty good, 5 is supposed to be confusingly bad. ~And a lot of other DVD's. lmao. Like ses. 1 - 3 of New Who and ses. 1 TW. And ooh, too much DVD but not enough, if ya know what I mean?~ Yep, I want TW, but I can only watch US DVDs on my laptop, and I don't want some American edit version, cos the Americans are strange when the edit TV shows! I also want the whole series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The whole series of Angel the series! Not to mention series 1 - 3 of new Dr.Who. ~I need more shelves or something to put it all on. lmao. I'm waiting for my Serenity Collectors Edition but I so wanted to buy lol all kinds of DVD's today.~ Or to win the Lotto! ;) ~Like ses. 3 Numbers, ses. 1 sex & The City, ses. 1 The L Word and this Marx Brothers DVD set. lmao. Not all at once, but at least one of 'em, but maybe next month. lol.~ You really DO need to win the Lotto. LOL ~I'm trying to buy nothing but what I reallly really want and I really want what I'm waiting for plus I have to have money to pay for my ses. 8 Buffy comics and Angel : After The Fall. And hah, the new Doctor Who comic. lmao. And yes, the TW mag I've been waiting for for ages and I think also a DW mag. lmao. They apprently just order mags from America, when I think maybe it'd be easier to get 'em from the U.K if they are published there in the first place but maybe it's more expensive. Ya know?~ Got the TW mag. seems very strange that you can't get it from the UK :( I thought the Euro/Pound exchange rate was getting less expensive? ~I just babble on and on.~ I'm obviously not minding :) :D ~Waiting for Jay Leno. Enrique Iglesias is on tonight. Woot. That guy is way hot. And damn, his cover of trire of being sorry. That vid was so hot with him as a vamp. Damn. Though I still think I prefer the original performers better. lmao.~ Enrique is hot, but I'd rather have John Barrowman, or Gareth David-Lloyd, or James Marsters ....mhmm or maybe I should remove the *or* and say *and* instead?! ;)
With Brian, yes. It's like at first you think he's a total asshole but then you see stuff and your like huh, maybe not. lol.
Plus, sometimes I think people are just too close to stuff and are blind to it and someone from the outside needs to point it out.
W & G was based on a British show? Whut?
Well, that was just a bit of fun, i guess. lol. Apparently Channel 4 wanted like a 22 ep. ses. 2 and they started work work on it but then they were like you know what, it's just better to end it here.
Which just shows that often British TV knows when to stop, when American TV goes on and on and on and just disaster.
And that thing bout the Supermarket is kind of stupid.
Hehe. That is probably true. The opne-mind bit. lol. :)
I so so need to win the lotto. lmao.
I think it's just the store I use, they seem to just do it that way. And we don't have the Euro, we still have our own currency (ISK = Íslenska Krónan) and it makes it veerrryyy exspensive to live here but I think a country's currency is a part of the nation's history and the Euro looks like monopoly money, at least the bills. lol.
I have all of Buffy and Angel. And why can't you get the British version of TW? I have the British version. lol. :) I like my British stuff from Britain and my American stuff from America. lol.
Except my Sernity DVD I got as a b-day, because the European cover is way cooler than the American one. lol.
Hmm. I should go to sleep soon, but I'm watiting for somethin on MSN. Just hopin my laptop will behave. lol.
I agree about the currency thing, I'm so glad we still have the pound in the UK. I went to Portugal before and after the Euro, and I really hated using the Euro. I don't see why we can't be together, yet different?
My Laptop will only play USA DVDs, so that's all I can buy. If I buy UK version of Torchwood I'd have to inflict it on my Mum when ever I wanted to watch it (as the DVD player is downstairs in the livingroom). I'm sure I could watch some episodes (or parts of episodes) more often than she could stand!
Sleep well, have fabulous Jack/Ianto or Brian/Justin dreams. Chat again soon.
Cool

I have a multi-region DVD player in my room. Hee. With my family one DVD player and one TV was never an option. lol.
