So, it's been a long time since this happened but.... it only took me TWO days to finish Blood Price (which is the first book in the series which Blood Ties is based on).
Damn, it had me laughing myself silly, going all oh...my...god and 'God, what a freaking geek!! Grrr.'
And I do wish I could just start Nr. 2 (Blood Trail) right away because I would probably be finished on Sunday hehe, but well, I've gotta get cracking on my Taming The Muse entry.
I had it all planned and stuff, I was going to write it and post it before Friday this week but what happens? I get super busy at school finishing the book (not quite finished yet!), then yesterday me and two of my classmates skip out of class early (the teacher wasn't there. Not really, not the one who is usually. Just one who looked in on us from time to time) and we went to this bookstore-slash-coffee shop to have something to drink and look at magazines.
Each person could take three to the coffee shop-area. So we all took three. Hehe. I took Vanity Fair, Tatler and some British magazine called Writing Magazine.
Now the reason we were doing this, besides getting to leave early and have fun was because the finale project for school is to design a Magazine. We have to do basically everything and so we went there. We had some cake and drinks, then we borrowed a ruler (which was wayyyy too short) and then Dagny got one which was much longer and better to use. lol.
Then me and her bought one of our magazines, but Tinna didn't. I bought the Vanity Fair issue I had because even if the cut size of it is a bit odd I like how easy it is to hold and such. Plus, very cool issue with stuff about Film Noir and stuff. But Dagny bought this one which had this pen with it and you could color the cover. It was named I think Computer Arts or something of that nature.
I was pretty close to buying Tatler because damn that one is nice and had this Interview with Anne Hathaway and talked some about her role as Jane Austen in Becoming Jane. Which I totally want to see and I love both Jane Austen and the actress, so that's pretty damn awesome.
But in the end I bought Vanity Fair because that's the size I'm going for and I can then show the teacher on Monday the size and stuff. lol. :)
But I did go to school again today and stayed till like noon, but I did just catch a lift with my parents because I usually don't go to school on Fridays because I don't have class on Fridays but I wanted to work on the cover and such. I used for the title of the book my fav. font of the moment which is...duh, JaneAusten.
Which I used on my LJ banner as well. lol. :)
Then I lent Dagny my BBC Version of Pride & Prejudice because she had only seen the Keira Knightley version but she was reading the book, in Icelandic but still... and I told it's 6 hours. lmao. And when you've seen Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy you won't see him as anyone else. Hee.
She said she'd return it on Monday and that she was obsessive about her DVD's too, so I hope they are in good hands and that I get them safe and sound on Monday in school. lol.
Anyways, I'm off to try and write. lol. Just anyone with Lifetime should watch the 2 hour premier of Blood Ties this Sunday at 9 PM ET/PT (whatever that last bit means) and make them buy those last nine ep's. ;)
EDIT : I forgot to mention that you can download the first part of the two part premier on iTunes right...Now! So, go watch that and then watch the rest on Lifetime.
