My mom TOTALLY has missed the point about Ugly Betty.
She's seen what 1 ep and a bit of ep. 2? And she thinks she's silly, and I swear she wanted to say stupid and "pukó" (which really means she's lame. Yeah, mom's one to talk. Christ.)
WTF!? Doesn't she get it. Betty is (in my opinion, at least) this adorable girl who sees good in all and wants nothing more than to be good at her job and excues me if she ain't "fashionable" (I dress like I want to dress myself and I don't give a fuck what others think.) and still has braces and shit.
I had braces till like 20 or so, not with the blue in it though, lol. I tried to keep them as low profile as I could but was never like hiding them.
Wtf is up with my mom? Plus, it's based on a freaking telenovella.
Sometimes she just drives me so nuts and I know I should just roll my eyes, let her think what she wants to fucking think and walk away but sometimes I just want her to see how stupid some of the things she lets out of her mouth.
And is it any wonder I want to watch things on my own more and more? Because I can't stand watching TV with her. I CAN NOT stand it.
But on the cooler side, after ANTM is over they're gonna start show Britain's next Top Model. Hee. They showed Australia's Next Top Model here but it was in a stupid timeslot so I always missed it. But I think BNTM will replace ANTM, so...
One place says SN starts here tonight but another doesn't. But the first was on the channels web-page and I saw an ad a few days ago. So, I'm gonna hope that's right. lol.
Guh. I'm getting a headache. :(
Oh, last night I fell asleep as a re-run of Heroes was on and then I wake up a bit later. I swear I looked at the clock and thought it said 7 AM. So, I got to the bathroom and brush my teeth and all.
I'm thinking ; God, I wish I could just go back to sleep. and then I get back to my room, look at the clock and it says 2:20 AM!!!
But my stomach gets all EVIL so it takes some time to get back to sleep, but I was like ; Yay, I get to go back to sleep! Heh.
