Christmas Invasion still owns me
Life on Mars continues to be amazing, but this is not about that.
I started rewatching The Christmas Invasion, and oh, what pure delight (after I finish it, I'll do a proper rewatch of Who, from S1). I am only ten minutes in but am already grinning. Here are caps from the beginning:
(Heh. How to make dangermousie happy: take an OTP, add a dash of h/c and a bit of off-kilter, and some good-old-fashioned she in danger can wake him from unconsciousness bit. And we are set).

A little disoriented as he is still regenerating:

Could Rose be any more gorgeous? Seriously. Forget the Doctor. I am in love with her myself.
And he is down for the count, as his regeneration isn't going so well. Seriously, funniness, shippiness, evil Christmas trees AND h/c? Is this made for me or what?
Rose's turn to play Doctor (yes, I am five):

And Mickey is awesome too.
Jackie is not listening :P
The evil Xmas tree. That will never cease to amuse me:

And he is in a Time Lord Coma (or whatever they call it), and they are in danger, but guess what? He is up to kill the Xmas tree as soon as she is in trouble. How could I not ship them?
He might be dead to the world and utterly unresponsive to anything, but all it takes is for Rose to whisper 'help me' and...
And he is up and about. Sort of. He is still in severe pain. And still picking on Jackie :P Seriously, this ep is heaven. (I love the way Rose watches him, worried for him, uncertain of his new self)
