How much do I love Dong Gyu (Lee Ji Hoon) in Hello Miss?
Seriously.
He is amazing.
I like Lee Da Hae's heroine quite well, but she is a bit stubborn and childish. No big, but faults.
But I have no qualms, complaints or anything about DG.
In fact, I literally squealed out loud right now.
I mean, I knew he was laid-back, and funny, and secure in himself but not boasty, and a little tongue tied, and very very kind.
And he likes LDH's character even if he didn't realize it himself yet.
But. BUT. BUT.
What made me die wasn't even his buying her a cellphone, or trying to protect her from pyramid scheme people (and he has no idea how to fight so gets thrashed) or even his getting her to go back in again for a model contest after she walked out, even though if she gets the money it means she won't need to sell the house which he is trying to buy because his grandpa wants it.
No, what made me completely die was the bit during competition. LDH's character is old-fashioned and conservative but she is competing in this model thingy where DG is one of the judges. And she is wearing a skimpy, tied around neck dress and she gets a bit carried away with posing (I love the look on DG's face, amused and entraced all at once). And then one of her straps is untied and the dress falls (not enough to show breasts because she catches it, but still) and she is so horrified and confused and humiliated (very oldfashioned, as she is, that must be the worst) and everyone just looks on, embasarrment or amusement except for DG. DG just automatically jumps up as soon as it happens and runs to her (and he doesn't care what those people will think) and wraps her around in his suit jacket, sort of half-hugging her, and yells for them to dim the light and...
ohhhh...
ohhhhhhh....
OHHHHH....
And then she runs off and he is looking for her, to make sure she is OK.
There is nothing I like as much in fiction as a decent, sweet, nice guy.
