Slightly Surreal: Photos from Japan, batch 5 of [--]. Tokyo: Shibuya and Harajuku

Photos from Japan continue...

This is still Tokyo (yup, still first full day in country). Mainly Shibuya (where the cool young things hang out), with a bit of harajuku thrown in at the end.

A lot of these are people photos :)

Bunch of schoolgirls at the Shibuya train station:

The very crowded central point in Shibuya near the station:

Told you I like taking photos of strangers:

Famous statue of faithful dog, apparently a big meeting place:

And as always, glass and ads:

Kimura Takuya presides over the square:

The amazing eight-way (or so) cross-walks, crazy-crowded:

One of the streets in Shibuya. I like the couple, and the clothes on the girl in the background:

Self-explanatory. Oh tackiness, never leave me!

More people and street photos:

I like the slightly surreal feel of this one:

Shibuyans? Shibuyaites?:

More streets and people on them:

Especially notice the shirt on the tall young man in the center!

Clothing details of passerby. Yes, I was experimenting and thus blurred on purpose...artistic or crappy? You decide.

Posters at a movie theater:

More street scene. Spot the guy in armor with a flag:

As I said, very crowded:

Some sort of float:

With its own cosplay army?

Young man enjoying his can of coffee:

'Kimura Takuya is watching you' sounds so much better than the Big Brother equivalent:

I sort of like the smearing. Yes, I experiment weirdly when I have a camera and need sleep:

Harajuku, near where cosplayzoku are (so crowded everywhere!):

Cosplayzoku hanging out:

(this blur is unintentional :))
