Time Between Dog and Wolf, ep 1
I am about forty minutes into Time Between Dog and Wolf, a Korean drama about a messed-up undercover police officer, ordered to infiltrate the very mob which killed his mother.
I only checked it out because I adore Lee Jun Ki, who plays the protagonist Soo Hyun but OMG OMG OMG. So glad I did, because it's awesome.
And it's filmed in Thailand which looks so pretty.
The first episode is all about the children versions of the adults characters, Soo Hyun and Ji Woo (his future OTP). And I have to say that chibi!Soo Hyun is so adorable, I want to have a son like him, except since the fact is he is Korean, that is unlikely :D And chibi! Ji Woo is cute too. Normally, backstory has me hitting ff button, but not here.
OMG OMG OMG, I thought they were saying the usual overdramatized quickie statement about the OTP being 'Romeo & Juliet' but they meant it! Because his Mom is a prosecutor and her Dad is a Mob hitman. And he kills his mother in front of his eyes at the end of the ep! And the kid remembers seeing him with his OTP. OMG OMG omG.
Also, if the beginning isn't some sort of fade-out, LJK dies at the very beginning and the rest is flashback? Whoa.
But oh man, he looked gooooood, in suit, and earring, and trying to outfight the bad guys. And was the girl in the car with him, who he made get out and then drew all attention onto himself grown up Ji Woo?
