The Outsiders: ep 9 and 10 picspam

On the minus side, this story of loss of innocence is wrenching.

On the plus side? The guys are HOT. And this time the screencaps are LARGE.

Here is a rather shrunk-down sample of one:

So enter behind cut for sweet OTP kissing, emotional boys, strong girls, some devastation, and some blood.

EPISODE 9 (the calm before the storm):

Credits!!!!

Ah Hao being interrogated by Uncle Huai and knowing he will have to be let it found out he is now Mob:

The really awesome Danzi, helping Yu Yen make up her mind whether to return home to her old life, or stay with Ah Hao. They end up going to all of her old haunts. He even lights candles for her!

Ah Hao is meanwhile freaking out as to where Yu Yen is:

My favorite scene in the episode. After being absent all day and night with Danzi, Yu Yen comes back to Ah Hao. She has shed her old life but Ah Hao doesn't know it, and is freaking out she left him and he and Danzi get into a fight, but then Yu Yen slowly removes her shirt a little and Ah Hao is struck dumb. Because she's got the mob tattoo now. She has branded into herself, her belonging to him. It's her ultimate acceptance of his life:

Yet more shots of that scene:

I love this scene. After the tattoo scene, Ah Hao finally doesn't have to fear being rejected and his worries and fears and justifications come pouring out:

(omg, foreshadowing. Ah Hao saying that he will go crazy if something happens to Yu Yen):

(Poor Ah Hao. Poor Yu Yen. Yes, you might say it, and mean it, but do you think she is happy with such a life?)

This scene made me tear up. Ah Hao seeks out Uncle Huai to try to explain but Uncle Huai rejects him utterly, even though Ah Hao gets down on his knees:

Ah Hao, remembering Uncle Huai's repudiation of him, but also deciding to buy a beautiful dress he just saw in a window, for Yu Yen:

The boys playing dress-up for a mob meet:

OMG. Such sweetness. Ah Hao skips the meet to give Yu Yen her dress and to dance with her on their balcony:

(he sees her in her new dress):

Bad guy. Who apparently has a death wish as he is fooling with the Godfather's wife:

Danzi thinking of his feelings:

Most awesome scene ever. Ah Qi finds out Hong Do loves him because she slaps him in a jealous rage when he flirts with someone and he is extatic and ditches the flirtee and runs after Hong Do and admits he loves her too:

(you go Hong Do, with your awesome text message):

KISSING:

Yup, forever trapped:

And so is Yu Yen:

I really love this shot:

Danzi, scarily gorgeous:

EPISODE 10 (everything falls apart):

It starts deceptively happy. Yu Yen fretting she isn't enoug help and Ah Hao making her get on his back so he can carry her to prove she is a precious burden :)

Yu Yen asks Hong Do to teach her how to do tough. Unfortunately, she is as tough as a sparrow, anyway:

And Ah Hao isn't super pleased, either:

The bickering OTP!

OMG. I love the looks on Ah Hao and Yu Yen's faces as they realize their friends are an item. I have so been there :)

Ah Hao agreeing to take Yu Yen to a bar he runs, despite his misgivings:

Having fun (they are so young. It's scary how normal they can be and then go into mob mode on a dime):

They hear there is trouble and they go to check it out:

Despite Hong Do telling her not to, Yu Yen goes to see too, and gets in the way and gets hurt and some mob guys get badly hurt protecting her:

In the aftermath. I wonder if part of the reason Ah Hao is so blindingly mad is because he is displacing his worry for her:

OMG. He slaps her. I want to stab him in the face. I don't care if you are just freaking out, or she was in the wrong or what. Dude, you are a mobster, grovel when normal people talk to you, even:

And of course, he immediately falls apart:

And Yu Yen is so dazed and hurt and sorry and guuuuh. Stop breaking my heart:

And Danzi is mad and Ah Hao is a mess:

Danzi storms out:

And Ah Hao gets blind drunk. Which is, ironically, good (would he have been able to rescue Yu Yen on time? No way. But she wouldn't have been able to hide the rape and he would have killed the guy and then killed himself or something equally drastic):

Hong Do decides to take Yu Yen home with her as Yu Yen doesn't want to face Ah Hao she thinks is still mad. Oh no, girls.

Evil boss thus plans his revenge:

Meanwhile Ah Hao is still freaking out and then just passes out:

Ah Hao in uneasy sleep because his OTP sense is tingling even when he is unconscious and blind drunk :)

I cried so badly at this scene. Yu Yen in the aftermath of her rape:

And Danzi is the one who finds her:

OMG. Yu Yen has the presense of mind to swear Hong Do and Ah Qi to never tell Ah Hao about what happened to her. He is going to find out someday though, I am sure. And then he will go mad:

Danzi, after killing the rapist (who was working for evil boss and also filmed the whole thing, so as to give these to Ah Hao to make him lose it as everyone knows how mad Ah Hao is about Yu Yen). I love that Danzi feels no remorse. And I love that he enjoys the murder. And I love that he checkmates the evil boss with some blackmail:

And he is arrested and given seven years, though Ah Hao doesn't know about the rape, but he does know Danzi did it to defend Yu Yen:

Why don't you rip my heart out, drama?
