Satisfied Covetousness....
am in love with my Special Edition Box of Return of the Condor Heroes. If it wasn’t for Mr. Mousie, I am not sure if I wouldn’t want to have its babies.
And I haven’t even watched it yet!
The 14 discs are contained in a gorgeous deep red box that (I swear to God) has an entirely velvet covering. I kinda like touching it. There are bluish horizontal embossed lines in it. The content of the story is on the back in silver embossed lettering (and it’s not pidgin!). The name of the drama is in front in the same silver lettering and there is also a gorgeous ‘raised’ color photo of the lovers in the center of the front, with facsimile of the actors’ signatures on it, so it’s basically a reproduction of one of those autographed souvenir photos. Around the lower part box is a thick paper wrap around with further gorgeous pictures and technical info. This box makes me grin just looking at it.
Btw, I know a number of people on my flist aren’t into dramas. But even if you aren’t, I rec checking out this one. Mix up swords, gorgeous clothes, star-crossed love. Imagine Lord of the Rings crossed with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
