I have just finished ep 4 of Snow Queen and I am crying from the sheer perfection that this is.
I really love how he cannot resist doing math: it's something that sort of flows out of him: witness his finding dissertations and reading for hours (and I love how she just sits there and watches him silently and a bit possessively. She is so drawn). He really loves it, as opposed to boxing which he likes OK and he is OK at, but not the talent or passion he has for math. That is precisely why he won't allow himself to pursue it (that and the fact that he feels that is the fault of that ability that his friend died). He needs to forgive himself, to realize he wasn't at fault, so he could move on.
Because as it is, any time anyone even brings up that he isn't the aimless person he sees to be: Bo Ra's father, Geon-Woo (who had the funniest awesome date with Bo Ra btw :D), or Bo Ra herself, it's like shutters come down and he turns all inquiry away.
But omg omg omg omg omg. At the end of the ep (and I love that it moves fast) Bo Ra finds out he is her childhood love!!!! Because he mentions Snow Queen and when she asks him how he knows the story, he tells her of their (though he doesn't realize it) first meeting. EEEEEE!
They are both so damaged. They should fix each other.
In case my picspam of Lovers was not enough to induce you to watch it, I bring you this INCREDIBLE kissing scene. There is kissing against the wall, and unbuttoning of buttons, and kissing of eyelids etc etc and this might be the hottest kdrama kiss I've ever seen. Actually, scratch that. That IS the hottest kdrama kiss I've ever seen. It's the hottest drama kiss ever, period.
And a Lovers MV or two:
