OK, watching Salaam-e-Ishq reminded me how much I love John Abraham, arguably the hottest guy anywhere evah. Who also happens to be a Bollywood star (he and fiancée Bipasha Basu should be mandated to have children for the sake of genepool).

I agree with most of your choices. I liked Karam very much and I think it's one of the most underrated Bollywood films. I thought he was wonderful in Jism (even though it was his first) but I can't say which movie is his best. He is usually excellent in Bhatt movies (Jism, Saaya, Paap and Aetbaar). He makes a very good villain as we have seen in Aetbaar, Zinda and Dhoom. As for your list I would rate Jism higher and replace Elaan with Aetbaar. I have enjoyed all of his movies except for the horrible Lakeer (what was he thinking!).

I love that he is open to different ideas and does not want to do big budget movies all the time. (http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2007/jan/31slide1.htm)

I haven't seen Aetbaar actually. Is it good? I do want to check it out (though the highest on my list of JA movies I haven't seen in Saaya).

Jism is lower on the list mainly because I love the original, Double Indemnity, so much.

I actaully generally really like his choice of movies. Most of them seem interesting.

I actually own Lakeer for the sheer pretty, beat-up factor but I haven't watched it yet. I guess I shouldn't hurry.

I am glad someone else likes Karam. I think it's an excellent movie but is very not Bollywood so I could see why it died at the box office, but I really wish it had more of a recognition. It's beautiful.

I confess Zinda freaked me out.

I just read the interview you linked, and yup, really like his choice in movies.

I am always surprised when actors don't sound like idiots and he actually sounds well-spoken and intelligent. Good for him.
