Angsty wild boys: Magic Ring and Sang-Doo. Our angst is hotter than yours

I am currently watching Sang-Doo, Let’s Go to School (Korean dorama with Rain) and Magic Ring (Taiwanese dorama with Joe Cheng).

I would classify both of them as entertaining but not great. Of the two, Sang-Doo is superior (though considering I am 10 eps into SD and only one into MR, this can change), with tighter script and less OTT acting. But

His hair isn't too bad (except in the credits which are dreadful).

Be warned, the subs are very 'engrish.' Good enough to get the gist of the convo but that's about it.

Oh my, angsty Joe Cheng in decent shirt = I am downloading it now. Thank you so much for the pic!!! And yep, haircut is good - I was just not sure after seeing the DVD cover, that is all.

The hair in the credits (and the clothes) are horrific and are supposed to be some ref to some legend or other with the protagonists 'portraying' those legend people. Thankfully, that's the only time we see the awfulness.
