I am rewatching Fushigi Yuugi, and honestly, this thing is as good the second time around. There is an anime I love better (FY is my second favorite, after Trigun), but there is few things out there, anime, live-action or anything else that somehow hits all my kinks the same way.
I am also amused to realize that even after all the anime I've watched, and certainly some of it had canon or super-close-to-it slash couples, FY is the only one I've seen with boy-on-boy kissing, aka Nuriko/Tamahome and Tamahome/Nakago. For someone who is the star-crossed bf of the heroine, Tamahome certainly got a lot of kissing from the 'wrong' gender :P (Yeah, yeah, I know it was either involuntary or under false preences, and it makes sense in context but it's still amusing).
Also, Tamahome and Hotohori are still my number one choice for hypotehtical threesomes I'd be all into.
I have also started watching Chobits. I've seen half an ep so far. I like the artwork (though Chi, the human-looking personcom A.I., is a bit chibi), and I like what I've seen overall. But all I really have to say about it now is "Her switch is WHERE?" I am sure I could posit something on view of women from it, but whatever.
Also, I've taped some eps of First Wave from scifi. I used to love that show and the sexiness of Sebastian Spence and the darkness. Why isn't this on DVD?
