Largely BSG-centric
Does anyone else have it as a criteria for a purse you are going to take anywhere for a length of time that a book must fit into it? And you know that certain of your purses will fit small paperbacks and the other larger books. No? Just me then? Move along, nothing to see here...
Shantaram continues to be unputdownable. I am addicted to that book. I don't know if I like the characters, but they are fascinating.
Everyone simply must head over to queenofthorns's lj and read the Lee/Noodles fic located here. It's the best thing ever.
Re: Season Finale. I know some people have been complaining about the time jump. But as for me, it doesn't bother me at all.
Because, otherwise the alternatives are:
a. They never settle. They just keep on travelling. This is a format with no variation that will get dull. Also, they set up all their ducks towards the settlement.
b. They settle and we see this year during a season. A whole season in the wetness of Vancouver? No way. Those Caprica segments were my least favorites.
c. They settle and then Cylons attack really quickly. Well, no Vancouver much, but also the fleet will be all in readiness etc etc. Situation won't be as dire.
So the time jump works for me. I guess I am easy. Plus, I don't have to see a year of Anders. Or Lee steadily getting fatter.
