I am loving this, though it has about as much in common with the source material as Reign does with Mary Queen of Scots life or Sleepy Hollow show with the Washington Irving short story.
But the setting and costumes are gorgeous, Jonathan Rhys Meyers is magnetic, and the love story promises to be gloriously fucked up.

Basically, I love how utterly struck and felled by her he is. Deadly predator in helpless adoration of a woman is…I don’t know what it even is, but I love it.
Plus, she is the reincarnation of his beloved wife.

(Would it be functional or healthy? Hell no. But since Mina is not a real life lady but a fictional character, I say - bring on the doomed, epic, bloody, gorgeous mess that this ship is going to be!)
