He is the leader of a Birmingham gang circa 1919 and a war hero suffering from awful nightmares. She is a policewoman sent to get him who is masquerading as a barmaid and whom he is totally drawn to and who makes him feel more like living and whom he allows himself to be vulnerable with. I foresee doom and angst despite the fact that she is drawn to him too.
Sleepy Hollow is silly but Ichabod Crane/Abbie Mills make me glee.
