Hanna is the sweetest! Though she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, I like that she acknowledges and realizes that Alison and the posse made a lot of kids' lives hell, to a degree none of the others seem to (at least yet). I think because she was always a bit of an outsider within the posse, with 'hefty Hanna' and all, plus her new friendship with Lucas. I mean, Emily gets it a little (when she asks Toby how he can be so nice to her after what she and her friends did to him) but not on a systematic, general level Hanna does. And neither Aria nor Spencer have really processed it yet (if they ever will).
I find Jenna incredibly creepy and repulsive (she has a serious case of kdrama secondary girl going on, and I wish it was possible for Toby to get a restraining order against her), but even if she is a horrible person, she doesn't deserve blinding! Especially since she's never done anything to the posse (at least prior to the blinding, no idea if she is involved in A stuff). And as for Toby, the girls except for Emily think he's a creep who is better off behind bars even before the cops zero in on him as a suspect, but ummm, the only reason he has a juvie record is because of the girls. Being a quiet weird outsider kid is not normally a jaileable offense. A little of "well, if he and/or Jenna are A, they can be a bit justified" would go a long way, especially since it looks like the posse was constantly awful to both Jenna and Toby on a routine basis and then crowned it by accidentally blinding her and framing him for it, giving him a criminal record! I mean, I wouldn't blame either of the odd stepsibs if they went after our heroines, with that bit of background. (I mean, it wouldn't justify killing Alison, but a bit of psych warfare, sure).
I am glad to hear about Emily-Toby friendship. I like intergender friendships on shows and shows don't do it much.
The Moms are pretty cool - my favorite is Spencer's Mom but they are all trying hard.
