Cruel Palace: I haven't made my mind 100% yet, but I like what I have seen. It is a bit unusual in a sense that being a cable drama it is more "daring" and calls everything by its own name. It is also quite beautifully done, in a bit of an unusual way.
Also I like the fact that this is the same bit of history that we saw in Chuno (or the beginning of it) - Manchurian invasion and it's consequences. I keep imagining Chuno characters just there somewhere, especially Tae Ha.
But I think sometimes everything comes down to the actors (I mean if you like the mains or not). I was so-so about the lady lead but I think she fits to the role well. And I think her doomed OTP (he is nobleman whose family is demoted ,they were childhood sweethearts, she was "sold" to be the kings concubine, but before she did that they managed to be together) is veeeeeeeeeeery good looking - Jun Tae Soo. He was in Sungkyunkwan Scandal, but not in a lead role I think :
