First off, thank you! Im a sucker for HD scaps for one, but then when you added your insights and your own style of recapping made me to munch reading this.
As you said the cinematography in this drama is a spot on. I love how the director initiated the flashback in Detective Adjusshi's mind when he was trailing the empty snow-road.
The scene where Jung Woo was running away from Soo Yeon's , with repetitive words "What will you do when it snows?"
Also the diary scene. This pictures how innocent Jung Woo was and totally vanished that night. A teenage love is supposed to be what was drawn in Soo Yeon's notebook yet ended in trauma and horror.
I love how the child actors gave life to the most provocative/controversial issue of "sexual harrassment" (which was redefined from "rape" , i am not checking other subtitles yet but it was the term used from the english subbed vid that iv watched)
p.s.
-aside from the expected stone hearted parents, i may say i despise the nurse (yes high five when you called her witch LOL ) . i don't know where did she get her license to become one because from her attitude she is scary and i don't blame kang hyun jun if he distrust her. attempted murder for soo yeon? seriously? -as much as everyone are excited for the adults to come out, im taking my time, and thanks for the scaps. tho they show how graphic the pain were, your choice of photos are perfect. ^_^
The Korean term is somewhat ambiguous. It's literally "sexual violence." It's akin to "sexual assault," but unlike "sexual assault" which Americans regard as assault short of "rape," the Korean term refers to rape. And, if the evidence was found on her shoes, that can mean only one thing. Either blood or semen.
The scene at the end when Soo Yeon is beating / clawing at her own chest was brutal.
Yeah, I am with sanaenam that what happened was rape - I don't speak Korean, but when they said the shoe had more than evidence of violence but of sexual assault too, the only thing it could be, forensically, would be semen :(
I pretty much hate every adult except for two - they all should be put on an abandoned island and dumped there forever.
