Kang Suk/Jin Jin 4Evah!

Clearly, yesterday was a day for me to rewatch bits of some of my favorite family dramas. Because I totally rewatched bits of Gloria, the only 50-ep drama I watched with no skipping and almost no fast-forwarding (for my money, the first 35 or so eps are the best but it's good overall).

It's really really good. Two awesome OTPs and a good story.

finally coming out of the lurking shadows to comment purely because i loved this drama so much. really, it wasn't a rational love, because the production was sort of underbaked and the writing (especially the ending) made me question my own intelligence for obsessing over it so much, but in the end, i didn't even care. why ( ... )

Hi! :)

I loved the four of them together - such good friends (and for both YS and KS, probably the first friends they had).

Yeah, the revenge killed my adoration for JJ - she became almost unlikeable. By the end, I mainly wanted her with KS because he wanted it and that's not awesome - especially since until the revenge, JJ was my favorite.

I don't know why but I don't really mind about the logistics of the ending. I mean, I don't really see how Kang Suk's brother choosing suicide because he didn't want to face the music over his actions and his father losing his business is JJ's fault. I feel like all she's responsible for is the truth coming out, how people reacted to it was out of her hand. Plus, KS got the company semi back so his dad didn't really lose his company. I might be in the minority but the revenge arc, while not my absolute favorite, makes me happy.

But that is JJ's responsibility - she teamed up with grandma to take away the business and wreck Ji Suk. It's like saying in any revenge scheme, the avenger has no responsibility because if the bad guy didn't do X, the avenger would not be after him.

And I just couldn't buy the father being OK with KS/JJ after that. No way. I am a much nicer person than evil daddy and I would never be OK with that.

What to do? I kind of feel that way.

Plus, I always felt that KS's father didn't want to lose another son after losing his first. That's why he was okay with KS/JJ after everything. I kind of felt like he was tired/fed up with everything. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it because I want the ending to make sense to everyone?
