A Gentleman's Dignity, of course!

So, let's talk about the most burning issue first - the preview for next week!

First we get Yi Soo wearing the shoes!

But then Do Jin cutting Yi Soo dead!

And then Yi Soo crying in the bathroom, 'I like you.'

The preview is driving me insane! Presuming it's in chronological order, which previews of AGD tend to be, I am wracking my brains - YS wearing the shoes means she accepted Do Jin, finally and he looks delighted. But he's cutting her dead in the next scene wtf! It can't be one of his memory lapses because while it may lead him to forget she accepted his feelings, it wouldn't make him mad at her. And if she accepted his feelings, he would not be mad, he'd be ecstatic. So what is going on? My pet theory is that now that she knows how much Sera likes Tae San and overheard that Tae San is wavering, she is accepting Do Jin just to show Sera she has nothing to worry about/squash Tae San's potential interest. And then tells it to DJ. As to crying in the bathroom, maybe she realized she likes him for real? If she's crying over Tae San, I'll punch something (also she seems to have gotten over him by now). I need to know!

The thing is, I do think it's about time Do Jin pulled back. He keeps chasing and chasing and she is clearly very attracted and likes his wooing/protecting/teasing but she won't admit it to save her life and won't give him an inch of give. It's her right, sure, but I can't blame the guy for finally giving up - I mean, she never even picks up his calls. Tbh, I don't understand why she won't date him - they are both single and eligible, he loves her, she is attracted and you don't need to be madly committed/in love when you start dating - you start dating to find out if you are going to be madly committed/in love. So I think it would be good if he withdrew his attention and she realized she liked it and needed it. She won't miss it unless it's gone. But I am do wonder if Do Jin realizes that being serious with Yi Soo is being serious - she is marriage/family-minded. Meanwhile, their chemistry continues to melt my bones:

I am very very peeved with Tae San - first in relationship to Maeri liking Yoon. Fair enough, he doesn't like his little sister liking a man 17 years her senior and about whom he knows likely too much as his best friend (though he should also know that Yoon is the soul of decency). But publicly humiliating her at that party and trying to physically drag her out?! WTF! And then pretty much telling her he'd put her on a plane out of the country if her thing with Yoon goes any further?! WTF! She is 24, not 14. 24 is plenty old enough to know one's own mind and make one's own mistakes. And then his last conversation with Do Jin, pretty much telling him he might be interested in Yi Soo?! WTF! He knows Do Jin likes Yi Soo (though perhaps not exactly how much). Who the frell thinks about pursuing a girl his friend likes? Contrast Yi Soo's behavior vis-a-vis Sera/Tae San.

As to Yoon/Maeri, it's plan as the nose on his face that Yoon is in love with Maeri, he just won't let it out because he thinks it's wrong. And because he thinks he owes it to Tae San and Maeri to not return Maeri's feelings. I feel so much for this OTP because I think Yoon is the best of the guys. A part of me does want Maeri to give up and move on to someone else (hello, Colin is around :P) so Yoon would have to do the chasing - you can tell he's jealous already. Please get together, darlings! He's so rock-steady and full of integrity and she's so full of life and joy. Awwwww.

I loved the bits with Ja Rok and Min Sung in this ep. I adore Min Sung and their weird marriage clearly works for them.
