I WANT I WANT
Arang - I adore fusion sageuks, the leads are Lee Jun Ki (back from the Army, rawr!) and Shin Minah, there is a murder mystery element and, most likely, a romance between a magistrate and a ghost. How would I ever not be in?
Bridal Mask - Joo Won (!!!!!!!!!) plays a freedom-fighter against the Japanese in an adaptation of a famous manga. Everything I've seen about it indicates that it's going to be as if Capital Scandal and City Hunter mated and had an amazing baby.
Faith - Lee Min Ho in a period drama!!!!!! OK, now I calmed down. About a modern plastic surgeon who travels back in time. You know what I said about fusion sageuks? It goes double for time-travel dramas. Plus the whole 'modern woman goes back in time' is exciting. I like Kim Hee Sun, the female lead. And some of the supporting cast are ridiculously hot Sung Hoon and Lee Philip. Plus, to top it off, the writer is Song Jina, who wrote Eyes of Dawn/Sandglass/Legend/Slingshot/What's Up, i.e., she who can do no wrong.
Nice Guy Song Joong Ki gets his first lead role, opposite the amazing Mousie favorite Moon Chae Won. This would be enough, alone, to get me excited. But in a romantic revenge melodrama by the writer of Sang Do Let's Go to School, A Love to Kill, Thank You, and Will It Snow on Xmas, i.e., one of my favorite writers, and with the story of a man who seeks to use a woman to get revenge on his ex only to fall for her...yum, YES PLEASE.
The Great Seer - I don't know much about this one, but a period drama starring Ji Jin Hee means I am in.
Timeslip Dr. Jin - I am a sucker for fusion time-travel (duh), love the trailer and the stills and the cast - Song Seung Heon, Jaejoong, Park Min Young etc.
MAYBE
Ghost - I hate medical dramas but love So Ji Sub and Lee Yeon Hee. Plus, I think they will have ridiculously hot chemistry. So if the drama focuses more on their relationship (or non-medical angst etc), I am in.
I Need Romance 2 - I pretty much hated the outcome of the first one, and I didn't even watch it. But I live in hope that in this one, the gal won't go back to the cheater. Plus, I find Lee Jin Wook about the hottest thing on two legs and it's a rare opportunity to see him as the lead. Jung Yumi is gorgeous and they will make a totally eye-candy couple. So yeah, let's just hope his character is not a repeat cheater.
Vampire Prosecutor 2 - Simply because I haven't yet watched the original. If I do before this comes out, I will be all over it as I have yet to hear a single bad thing about the first one.
YOU CAN KEEP IT, THANKS
A Gentleman's Dignity - I think it's illegal to be a kdrama fan without loving Jang Dong Gun, and I do, but the male Sex in the City set-up leaves me beyond bored and so I will be skipping his small-screen comeback. Sorry!
Big - Hong Sisters are uneven for me, and none of their post-Hong Gil Dong work is in my love column (Gumiho came close, being so cute). Plus, I find the body-swapping plot grating without having even seen a second of this, romcoms are rarely my thing, and I appear to be the sole person in dramaworld who loathes Lee Min Jung, the female lead. All of this screams AVOID in big neon letters, despite my love of Gong Yoo.
Golden Time - Medical drama. Yawn.
I Do I Do - I don't like workplace dramas, I don't like younger man-older woman romanced outside of serious drama a la Majo No Jouken, all the stills I've seen yell their cutesiness, the knocked up plot does not interest me to put it mildly (contraception, use it!), I am unfamiliar with the male lead and ambivalent about Kim Suna. It all screams skip.
