Still trainwrecking
Still mainlining Sawan Biang and am on ep 3. Still no rape yet, but I am beginning to think heroine is lucky that is all that is going to happen because hero gives off every indication, with his violence and sociopathy and lack of control (who behaves the way he did at his father's wedding?) of a future killer. Honestly, if I were a friend, I'd tell heroine to get the hell out before he gruesomely murders her and everyone else in the house, then keeps a body part as a trophy, and dies in a stand-off with police.
Also, while that doesn't diminish his responsibility in being what he is one bit, his father should be smacked into doomsday. First for warping him into what he is by never showing him any affection despite the kid begging and second by being a model by treating women like things - his wife died in a car crash and he is wooing the next one within days! WTF. Also, put a leash on your kid, old dude! He's not five any more - you should give him an ultimatum to behave and if he does not, kick him out of the house. Honestly! Also, don't give your kid's dead mother's necklace to your newest wife in front of him and also allow your new wife to remove all his mother's stuff out of the house. Bad taste.
Also, three eps in, I finally found a person hero doesn't treat like dirt. Shockingly, it's his ex-girlfriend. He's *gasp* civil and even friendly. I don't know what magic powers the woman has.
Also, hero is currently being semi-friendly (for him) to heroine - it's pretty disturbing because it seems so out of character for him to be nice to anyone! He is totally liking the heroine even now which makes me wonder why on earth he is going to rape her. That is not the way to someone's heart!
Last point - most dysfunctional love quadrangle ever. Let me get this straight:
Stepmom likes Hero who likes Stepaunt who is liked by hero's previous Stepuncle. This makes my head hurt.
I don't get why stepmom digs him because he hates her and is awfully emotionally and verbally abusive to her. Is she a masochist? I get why she's making his life hell in return, but I wish she'd stop the one-upsmanship game because it's making everything worse. Why stoop to his level?
