The Princess' Man - ep 16; My Girlfriend is a Gumiho - ep 7

These two kdramas have nothing in common, but I have spammed enough recently, so this post combines two topics.

The more time goes on, the more I adore them and the more anxious I am that no harm will come to either one. I love their changes - Miho becoming more human and Dae Woong growing up. It's my bright bit of joy in period drama angst I am wallowing atm.

This ep was light on OTP interaction (until that amazing last scene) but I find the political nuances, and the plots and counterplots, equally fascinating. I do think that by now, SY's revenge is his crutch for living so that is why he is not letting go - that is his justification for being the sole survivor. It is also completely unhealthy (ignoring blood on own face, writing messages on corpse you just made in said corpse's blood is not a badge of sanity). I really wish he'd let the Prof. get on with the doomed rebellion and try to salvage some semblance of a life. It will be harder to cling bare-knuckled to revenge, once he discovers Ah Kang and her Mom are alive. He'll have some other reason to live for, I hope. Also, that last scene - was anyone reminded on Chuno? The scene where Dae Gil was looking for Un Nyun among those cloths. I loved that in that scene, SY looked startled, young, open, alive. I just want him this way forever.

One final note - more and more people know SY is alive. Clearly, he's never heard of 'two people can keep a secret only if one of them is dead.'
