Another cute adorable ep during which Mio realizes she likes Ren, Ren realizes he is...something (we all know he's mad about her), Nana is her evil self and Sho remains madly boring.
Here he is, fake-kissing Nana for the cameras.
Mio feels awful but Sho kinda brainwashes her that it's only because she's a fan - he is awfully manipulative, isn't he. Look at Ren's scowl as Mio congratulates him.
Bwahahahahahaa.
I ship them so riciculously much!
Seriously, they are so cute and shippy and I think he's beginning to realize she likes him.
Mio records Ren's song and puts all her hopeless feeling for him into it. That scene killed me.
Ooooh, Ren is about to become miserable.
Overall, I continue to love IDN - it's much more lowkey lovely than YAB and I love it.
I continue to adore this drama but have little meta (and am behind due to Family Honor obsession). So just have the caps of the hottest love triangle in ever (seriously, sexy chemistry is insane!).
Out of all the current dramas, the only one I am truly obsessed with is TPM. I really do think it's a masterpiece - gorgeously shot, smart, emotionally perfect. After having little interaction in ep 5, this episode is very OTP-heavy and if I were a Victorian lady, I'd probably swoon. The tragic irony is, of course, that the lovers cannot keep away from each other any more and declare that through the passionate embrace at the end of the episode just as the two families seal the deal on everlasting war. It's a culmination of, on one side, the politicking going on, and on the other the two of them showcasing their hurt and anger to the other - understandable hurt and anger - his at her deception and hers at his seeming indifference. Of course they cannot keep it up.
A lot of this tragedy could have been avoided if only SY let SR know who she really was (because then SY would stay away, hard as it would be). But despite her unconventionality (contrast her lack of hesitation of getting on that rough boat alone with Crown Princess refusing to do so even when accompanied by servants), she is still a woman of the period and her father told her not to tell anyone, SY included, the truth.
I continue to feel sorry for Crown Princess but by now this is getting tinged by impatience. Sure, it's little fun to be married to a guy you never heard of before the wedding, but that happened. You should make the best of it, if for no other reason than trying to get an ally in power struggles. I was surprised Jong had some steel in him when he did finally tell her off but we'll see how that will shake out. (Presumably she thaws towards him at some point and revokes her 'no sex ever' policy since historical CP had a kid and I can't figure Jong for a marital rapist). Anyway, gorgeous caps.
My favorite scene? Where he put on her shoe for her. Their chemistry and the longing and restraint and hurt are blazing.
I don't know if it's brainwashing or what, but I am finally finding DS attractive.
So does yeo Woon apparently :P
Honestly, we all know what the real ship of this drama is:
