A few quick thoughts on Vigilantes in Masks, ep 5

1. Wallace Huo's character is inching closer and closer to becoming my favorite drama hero of all time - the combination of heroism, a sense of humor, an idealism he's willing to back up with his body (I have NEVER seen a drama character who gets injured so much. He's won first place from previous title-holder - Song Il Gook's character in Lobbyist), mad skills, trauma, and utter indifference to his own future? It's as if it's designed for me! My description of a cross between Song Tae Ha and Hong Gil Dong still stands.

Plus, no man should be allowed to be this gorgeous. It could stop traffic.

2. I am totally beginning to ship Sanniyang with him! She is so no-nonsense, this is exactly what he needs, seeing how messed-up he is. And she can win over his stubborness, this is quite a feat.

Loved it when she made him drink that medicine by explaining how selfish he is to be always wanting to keel over (yay, she totally sussed him out) - why did he require their assistance in rescuing the poor then? And he drinks the medicine after all. She is awesome. Also, he's beginning to see parallels to his dead wife which is - yeah, pretty important. It's going to be interesting.

Also, she's an awesome fighter and tough and ILY, Sanniyang.

3. All the members of YZM seem to have awful backgrounds, but I especially felt bad for Hu. Eeeeeek!

Never cease traumatizing me, drama!

I am watching this rather slowly because I am doing it with Mr. Mousie, but I love every second!
