And then notices she's limping because she's been working so hard her shoes wore out. And then this follows. OMGOMGOMGOMG. My favorite bit being when she's so amused (but tenderly so) at his fussing and he tells her that every part of her belongs to him so it's not allowed to be hurt. And to her common-sense question of how she's supposed to walk around if he takes her shoes off, he just picks her up and carries her off. AWWWWWW.
Did I mention next time we see him, he's drawing a pair of fancy shoes for her and orders them made, and when a servant asks what size, he remembers holding her feet in his hands and shows "about this much" - the length of his hand. ADORABLE.
In other news, what is with characters in YZ dramas wallowing in self-harm? Eight's idea of telling him Mom to bug off and that he'll only love QC is to do some sort of a blood oath where you slice your arm with a bloody big knife multiple times? Eeeeeeeek.
