It takes a really special kind of evil to tell the man who had just lost pretty much his entire family - his father and all his brothers - that with his own two hands he has to kill the woman he loves or else he's not getting the antidote for the poison with which you poisoned his soldiers.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
My jaw.
Floor.
Pan Ying, I believe you may have just claimed the crown of the worst human being I've seen in a drama.
I mean, the term psycho bitch is in no way adequate to describe it. Especially since she seems to be operating from "I know you can't love me, but if I can't have you, your OTP can't either and I will make you suffer for all eternity in the worst way, too." That would be a psycho attitude under any circumstances, but seeing that Six was always nice to Psycho and that he has just lost his entire freaking family in battle, who does that? AAAAARGH.
So basically, long story short. Pan Ying poisoned all the Yang soldiers and tells Six he can get the antidote only if he kills Princess Chai (who's with him and is also poisoned) in front of her. She says she'll have company in Hades either way. Nice.
Six tries to reason with her and to plead with her but since she's a murderous satan-like being, it's not working. And he's basically going insane because that's a choice he can't make, so Princess Chai takes matters into her own hands and stabs herself with his sword, Psycho Bitch exclaims how happy she is and gives them the antidote and Princess Chai uses her last strength to drive that same sword through Psycho Bitch. Who falls to the floor and grins and goes "did you think I gave you the real antidote?" God, she was going to make Six do that and then laugh in his face that is was for nothing? Ugh DIAFFFFFFFFFF.
(Do not worry, they do get the real antidote and Princess Chai miraculously survives. I am not sure how it makes sense anatomically but by then I didn't care if it was through magic sparkles or something, I couldn't take any more tragedy).
As you can guess, I skipped ahead to ep 42. Basically, I watched them through ep 35 which was so happy it was unbelievable and made me cry from joy and will get its own post. And I know what happens after so I decided to take a break. But not without peeking into ep 42 for whatever reason.
Seriously, what is it with Hu Ge playing characters who get tortured by psychos who insist it's his fault?
