The elevator of loooooove!

For some reason, kdramas love to set emotional scenes in and near elevators - the enclosed space and the possibility of leaving by simply closing the door, are probably irresistable. Remember that climactic elevator kiss in My Girl? The emotionally-charged elevator scenes in Secret Garden? The sexy and angsty elevator scenes in Que Sera Sera? Well, New Tales of the Gisaeng is going to be added to the list. I loved this elevator scene in ep 6 to bits - there are so many unspoken feelings between them even if they are expressed in other ways (he is telling her to tell Ra Ra about the hotel incident - it's clear this is so Ra Ra would lose interest in him. And she's angry at him, because he had an arranged marriage meeting. And he fantasizes her asking him to date "formally." Oh, just talk, darlings!)

I can't see how he can make it ay plainer, short of tattooing 'go away' on his forehead.

And now I feel like a lakorn. I liked Jai Rao but never finished it, getting sidetracked into the dysfunctional trainwreck irresistableness of Sawan Biang. So here I come...

thai drama, jai rao, new tales of the gisaeng, screencaps3, sawan biang, doramas3
