I may be disappointed by Mary Stayed Out All Night and its upcoming unnecessary angst which makes no sense (listen, drama - if an angst junkie is telling you that you are better off without it, you probably are). You strong suit, MSOAN, are scenes like this:

I think YS would do anything to protect DA. I think JJ would go straight to the cops and never look back.

If YS died, DA would drink himself to death very quickly, if he didn't go out and pick a mob fight just to get himself knifed/beaten to death.

That is very true. I don't think I've ever seen an OTP need each other more. KS/JJ - they are too mature; if they broke up (Please no!), they'd be depressed, but they'd go on living. DA/YS - not so much.

I am pretty sure it won't go there, kdramas almost never do.

True. This isn't East of Eden or a Temptation drama. No one is raping or beating any women here. But, in real life or off-screen in a dark drama, yes I could see Creepy physically hurting YS. As it is he's hurting her emotionally and mentally. And, he doesn't care. He doesn't see the love. He just sees DA as being a "lowly street thug" and YS as being an object he can use to gain power.

Creepy needs to die. He really does. I thought (in early episodes - like the first 2 or 4) that maybe he could redeem himself, but after that - I've hated him more and more. I'll be so disappointed if he doesn't, at least, end up in jail. I'm hoping KS has secretly been taping their conversations - then he can turn that in to the police.

I really wish JJ would know about some of Creepy's crimes - she's the only one both free and inclined to go to the cops.

Yes, KS and JJ would be miserable and KS would probably regress into that nightmare he was living before, but they'd survive. DA and YS - no way.

Oh, I have SO many issues with how that subplot of EoE was handled (equivalent of YS being forced to marry Creepy and then falling for him) so am glad Gloria is not going there. But yes, in RL, her life would be a nightmare. Because Creepy is incapable of caring for anyone and also because he seems to harbor an unhealthy obsession with possessing her.

I didn't mind Creepy at first and felt a little sorry for him but by now I want him to slowly die.

I haven't understood Creepy's obsession with YS since day one. She barely said two words to him on the plane, and yet he stalked her. He found her house, her name, and waited outside for her. At first, I thought that maybe she reminded him of his wife and/or Jin-joo; that he saw her as his redemption. But, after awhile, it just seemed like he wanted to own her; to beat his brother. To be seen as the best in someones eyes. But, I can't understand why. She barely looked at him on the plane. She told him she disliked him and to go away. I just don't understand why he's creepily obsessed with her.

I sort of get it - she's gorgeous and he's obsessive so he started the chase. But pretty soon it became about one-upping his brother and his outrage at being bested by some no-name thug etc etc.

I suppose that's true. But, his obsession is still scary.
