Secret Garden - ep 7 thoughts and caps

So, ep 7 is the best yet, IMO.

I love that they started switching into proper bodies during pivotal moments (for the viewer's sake, not the characters switching). I love this bit, it's after Joo Won's mother was an utter bitch to Ra Im (or who she thought it was Ra Im :P) and JW tells RI that this was the first time he was glad they swapped bodies (so he was the one bearing the brunt of it) and apologizes. And she tells him every mean thing he says to her hurts three times as much as when his mother does it (admission she cares, yay!)

I nearly died laughing at Ra Im in JW's body mooning over bewildered Oska and cooking him dinner. Ahahahahaha.

Not that Joo Won in RI's body doesn't have his own trials.

When he, using RI's body, told Director to never confess romantic feelings to RI as long as she lived, i felt horrible for the Director. Ugh, that's a low blow. I want Director to be happy!

I don't care what it makes me, but I love snobby, cold, English-murdering Seul. It turns out her whole hunt for JW and shooting the video was all part of her plan to reconcile with Oska. I dunno, something about her dysfunctional crazy really appeals to me.

Oska is remembering his happy past with Seul. Or maybe brooding over his lost of one eye which necessitated that tragic fringe. Your pick.

Flashback to happier times. Please please let them hook back up, drama. (Part of the reason I can't truly hate Seul are flashbacks - she is totally not affected and very cute in them).

Bwahahahaha, where are his hands? Never change, pls.

She totally wipes the floor with him at golf after he was instructing her on how to do it properly. LOLOLOL.

So cute!

He asks her if he can be bad? My mind = gutter.

But I am not complaining about this:

This drama is so insanely pretty, you guys!

Even if you have more STDs than James Bond and stole my Grandma's clothes, I would totally do you. It's a sickness, I tell you. A sickness. (Side note - I read some spoilers for ep 8 so I know why Seul dumped him and I gotta say if it was me, I would have totally smacked the hell out of him - apparently, there was an actor 'friend' of both Seul and Oska and he was telling Seul that Oska is just fooling around with her, he isn't serious, and she protested and defended him and told the guy Oska really meant it, but then 'friend' went to Oska and was basically talking about how Seul likes to slut around with celebrities and so he shouldn't be serious with her (WTF is with the 'friend' - I use the term loosely. Does he want into Seul's pants? Or Oska's?) and so Oska told him he isn't serious and she is just a groupie (probably to protect his cred and reputation?), and that is what Seul overheard. Man - if I were her, I would have clawed his face off, not just rejected his marriage proposal in a horrible way. Seriously, he'd be walking around with no face. (Though I wonder if Seul realized whatever he told his buddy about her status, nobody proposes marriage to a groupie - he must have really loved her to want to marry her. Though I can get why she wasn't rational at the time).

Oska got arrested for stealing JW's car (long story). Heheeeeeee.

Mmmm, chemistry. It just hit me. I think I like Seul because her actress looks a lot like Lee Da Hae, my fave kdrama actress ever.

I really really love how cocky JW in RI's body is.

They swap the bodies to their proper owners again, for viewers' benefit. Basically, JW tells Oska he will dismiss the charges if Oska agrees to drop going after Ra Im (he won the bet that would allow him to do that). Oska tells JW that RI must mean a lot to him if he's willing to go that low, and then looks at Seul and declares he won't give Ra Im up. Oh dear, what a mess. Oska is doing it to stick to JW and Seul. Seul is misinterpreting, of course. And so is Ra Im. And Joo Won is super-unhappy. The eps are going to be fun! (Please please don't be one of those drama cliche things where secondary guy who is still hung up on someone starts going after heroine for some other reason but ends up falling for her for real. I want my Oska/Seul, dammit!)

Anyway, this drama is love and I wish there were more than two eps a week. The only storyline that bores me is the young musician guy (take your hipster cred somewhere else - I am getting a much better version of this with Mary already) but thankfully it's barely there.

I have no idea how this drama manages to be both laugh-out-loud funny and swoonily romantic at the same time.
