I know. He is just so isolated and lonely and the thing is, I keep thinking how lovely and well-adjusted he would have been brought up by normal people.

"vulnerable and intense" - spot on! Here is one guy who knows no love or how to be an everyday man. Viola comes this Jin Jin girl giving him ordinary life lessons in the most unassuming manner, yet fully knowing the boundary. I just wish their road to eternal happiness won't be too rocky.....

I know - I love how he slowly comes so alive and he ends up having such a great personality (and a wicked sense of humor). It's just wonderful to see him blossom from this repressed, miserable machine he was at the start.

You know, the first time I saw this guy who plays KS, was an old drama (Pure in heart) with Goo Hye Sun...and it was quite good. Because his character is nicknamed "frozen guy"...and it was really sweet how he fell in love with GHS. But then, you might not give it a chance due to your dislike of GHS. For me, I find GHS more bearable in PoH than BoF.

Sorry...got a bit off-topic...but what i wanted to say is that SJS is SO MUCH hotter in Gloria! Maybe it's the haircut?! But man, guys just look hotter as they grow older. so unfair!

Re:Pure in Heart. GHS isn't my favorite but neither is she a total roadblock - if I like other actors/story sounds interesting, I have no problem checking out a drama with her (I want to watch both Musical and Absolute Boyfriend when they come out). No, the problem is that isn't PiH over a 100 eps long. Even I can't hack something this lengthy.

I first saw Suh Ji Suk in the drama Heart of 19/Pure in Heart and thought how could this thin guy (so thin like the wind will blow him away) look handsome each time I watch him on screen? His acting was convincing that I hurt when he was hurt. I'm happy to see he has another drama and paired with Bae Doona yet! (I love her!) This has sold me -- I'm watching Gloria!
