On one level, I get where Kang Suk's stepmother is coming from. It would take a truly saintly woman to be fine with having to bring up the mistress' son, especially since the husband is still seeing the mistress. But her constant carping at KS has got to be beyond wearying and I can't imagine how deeply unfun it must have been when KS was a kid. The more I see of that family, the more I get why KS is the way he is.
Jin Joo is sick and Kang Suk rushes Jin Jin to the hospital and also tries to cheer her up on the way and is just being awesome and eeee.
You are so transparent, Kang Suk. Even Dong Ah has started to pick up what is going on.
And he pays the hospital bills.
He is all "I am only doing this because Jin Jin is a company employee" but Halmoni knows better :P
He is so embarassed when Halmoni brings up the bills thing. Awwwww. He is sort of unused to people viewing him as a good guy.
He stays there the whole time.
And then takes them home and helps out (and is horrified at their living conditions which amuses Jin Jin).
And then she accidentally splashes really hot water on her leg while carrying it for her sister's wash and he freaks for her.
And he buys medicine. At that point Eo Jin the little nephew is all "are you sure you are not Jin Jin's boyfriend?" LOL.
Creeper is unappy to learn his victim says she wants to marry his brother and acts his own crazy self. Listen, leaving anything else aside, you have killed your wife and did your best to kill your mistress. I know 'third time lucky' is a common saying but despite that I gotta say you are a pretty awful matrimonial prospect even if the other choice was a syphilitic leper.
Thugboy/Ballerina continue their awesome.
In case you haven't figured it out yet, Robot Boy/Jin Jin are now my favorite OTP of the drama, surpassing Thugboy/Ballerina, who I still do love. Also, even though I am 18 eps in, Kang Suk has yet to wear anything that offends me - I think more drama designers should go that route - suits/jogging clothes/boxing trunks is a very very safe and yummy route.
