LOL ... for the last year Mickey had his hair in this sleek modish cap so his locks are a relief, trust me. But out of the five members of DBSK, he is the best actor, and he is a very good composer and song writer. AND he spent his early childhood/early teens in the US and he is fluent in English.
DBSK has five members, Yunho (U-Know), Jaejoong (Hero), Yoochun (Mickey), Junsu (Xiah) and Changmin (Max). They go by their original Korean name DBSK (Dong Bang Shin Ki - Five Gods of the East), but also with TVQX which is the abbreviation of the name in Chinese. When they started to tour Japan, they did so under the name of Tohoshinki. Their image has changed over the last couple of years from cute, clean guys to more sophisticated/erotic men. But one of their main features (and where they are really good at) are their a capella singing. They really can sing which isn't always the case with idol groups. Their songs are pop but not the typical Korean/Japanese pop songs. They remind me of Shinwha (whose members are all either right now in the military or about to join). Unfortunately, they are all working on doramas right now, instead of music as three out of the five went on trial against their management because of their contracts (which could be called enslavement for a better word). SM is just another JE clone :s
I remember reading something about some of the DBSK members suing their agency over slave contracts - I suppose it's the ones who now formed JYJ. I had no idea who any of these people were at the time, but their description of agency treatment sounded really creepy.
lol, I had the same reaction when I saw Micky Yoochun in real life, I was shocked and it was hard to go back to SKKS and think of him as all virginal and serious... I read that Yoochun in real life is actually very different from SJ, he's very funny, sly and outgoing.... when I heard this my brain.could.not.compute. I try to stay away from him as Yoochun as much as I can while I'm watching SKKS- I just love him as the uptight scholar- and that is such a part of his charm that seeing him in real life is just too hard to deal with.... I really give him kudos though on being such a good actor and depicting SJ so well when he is so different from him in reality

LOL. I had to do the reverse cognitive computation, going from Micky of DBSK to Sun Joon. And it's a testament to his dedication and work that when I watch SKK, I ONLY see Lee Sun Joon. He is really pouring himself into the role. =) And it's amazing to see that his work is paying off handsomely

Just wanted to add that just seeing SJ without that historical outfit is a shock in itself, I wonder if they will show him on the drama without the headpiece on- strangely I feel like his costume is part of him and without he looks like a totally different person....SJ I can't wait to see you in episode 15
We never got to see Park Kyu without his headpiece so I think the chances here are slim too (especially since they'd have to stick different extensions on him, hmm).
Wow that is a really good song and Micky's hair then really suited him... I really like when they sing in Japanese. I really like 'Why did I fall in love with you?' by them also
Man, now I'm kind of in a DBSK kick :P . I like it when they sing in Japanese, too. At first I was really excited when I found out they were going to release a Korean version of Love in the Ice on... was it Mirotic or T? I don't remember. But it didn't impress me as much as the Japanese version. I think LitI was just meant to be in Japanese.
I hope everything works out for them because they honestly seem like very nice people. Hopefully they'll all be able to sing together as a group again someday.

I've only seen act him, Yunho (shudder!) and Jaejoong (whom I liked but I like Mickey better). How many members DBSK did have anyway?
