I was waiting for ep 36 of Giant to be fully subbed on viikii but my impatience got the best of me and I watched it about 1/3 subbed.
Mmmmmmm. I am glad that Jung Yeon and Gangmo cleared their misunderstandings and also found it realistic that even though each now knows all of the truth, that boat has sailed - I can't see them hooking up again any time soon (though as they are the main OTP, I am sure they will at some point before the end. Oh, if only I cared. LBS and PHJ have NO chemistry, sadly).
I was, however, devastated to discover that Min Woo shaved his sexy scruff of angstiness. Boooooo! Disapprove. He also donned a symbolic black shirt to signify his trip to the dark side and proceeded to dismantle and take over Manbo Construction (man, Jung Yeon must be a really sucky manager, because Min Woo took it over in about 10 minutes flat. Granted, he is very smart and was motivated to be extra ruthless here, but still - Lady, if the only way you got to keep the company as long as you did was because Min Woo would rather teach his girlfriend English and Math for her GED instead of taking over and kicking you out, you are not that qualified).
Clearly he took his father's lesson that if he ever wants to defeat him, he has to be his father's copy, to heart. It's pretty sad because this is the last thing Miju would have wanted for him, but I can totally understand him. I totally swooned when Daddy Satan was complimenting him and Min Woo calmly told him he didn't do it for Daddy Satan but for Miju, so he'd be able to protect her from Daddy Satan next time, and said that he will find her even if he has to turn half the world upside down. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Also, finally, time jump! Is it a 5-yr-one? I get confused with the time-line. And MW is still looking for Miju. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWw. Meanwhile, Miju is singing in some club with some really terrifying bowl haircut which I hope she does not keep for the rest of the drama. If she does, I'll love her anyway, though.
