It looks charming but weird. And it reminds me of the Hong sisters.

Ugh, don't mention them - if it's anything like their latest efforts, I will be appalled. It doesn't look like Hong Sisters to me. Their latest 2 looked jdramaish but this doesn't at all - it looks like a mix of Butterfly Lovers cdrama and kdramas like Daemang.

it reminds me of them in that it looks like wacky humour, which could be good if it's of the Hong Gil Dong variety and very bad if it's of the YB variety.

SKK Scandal has progressive figures such as King Jeong-Jo and all-around renaissance man Jeong Yak-Yong as supporting characters, so I don't think they're gunning for wacky humor and high jinks only.

I see fandom has already begged for mercy and assigned an acronym.

That is impressive (and I'm not being facetious).

Thanks for the new teaser (new scenes!), that was a nice pick-me-up after marathoning a Noh Hee Kyung drama (not Worlds Within), which turned out to be a massive angstfest. Was WW like that too? I wasn't familiar with Noh's style, but still, I didn't get the impression from your posts it might be something of a trademark for her. It just caught me off guard she could pen out such a viscerally wrenching angstfest.

Which one? I've only seen WW and it wasn't particularly an angstfest - it had some angst, sure, but overall was fairly light in tone.

Now I want to watch that.

More Beautiful Than A Flower, which was a KBS Wed-Thur. drama in early 2004 and one of the few ratings successes for Noh (at least towards the end of its 30-ep run, it was up against Stairway to Heaven in the beginning). It's actually a family drama, Noh's love letter to her own mother (won the Baeksang best drama that year), and revolves around a 'mother' & her 3 children, but the star-crossed love story btw the 2nd daughter (Han Go-Eun) and the man who killed the older son (by accident in a nightclub brawl; Kim Myung-Min in a rare romantic role) was a big focus and a big draw, and it's no surprise, KMM and HGE were wonderful together (and a turning point for both careers). I wish there were subs b/c I think you'd really enjoy it. The very first ep. has them meeting in Bali (he's an investor her firm is courting) ending with a very memorable kiss underwater; Kang Ji-Hwan has the critical cameo of the older son/brother/best friend; and KMM & HGE have so much chemisty, I figured they were already lovers in this clip by ep. 5 but as it ( ... )

For you, Ms, Mousie. Full length MV for I Love You, the first single from the Athena OST. The entire MV are scenes from the OTP. I am so sold on this, November cannot come fast enough.

OMG.

Do want!

Being me, the thing I found most interesting was that little hint of angst near the end. (I loved IRIS' insane angst and so far ATHENA looked like it would not have much).
