Look what I found! A clip of the scene in which Xiamo and Ou Chen make their agreement (I am trying to be vague in case there are spoilerphobes here). Apparently a channel in China is running this drama way ahead of schedule and AF has become a spoiler paradise.
You know - this is my biggest sticking problem with rooting for Ou Chen to be the one with Xiamo - he pulls stuff like this. I mean, I feel sorry for him because he needs all the therapy his extensive bank balance can buy, but no. Just no. The thing is, I end up placing myself in Xiamo's shoes and how I would feel if I was ever put in this situation and I am stuck with the fact that I would never forgive this, ever. I mean, he could try to kill himself, make me handmade ribbons, or buy me the entirety of Luxembourg - it won't ever make me get over it. Especially since it's not a "my love for him is so great, I will overlook a lot" type situation, where I could get it (which is why I could get her getting over stuff Luo Xi does - not that he ever did anything this bad - he may blackmail her with his own life but not another's).
Anyway, Ou Chen, go back into a cave.
I am having a good time imagining Shancai exchanging places with Xiamo for a day - neither Luo Xi nor Ou Chen would know what hit them - she'd fix them in two minutes straight.
