Ohhhhhhhh! How interesting (I am responding to your both comments in one - and thank you thank you thank you for digging up that conversation. I absolutely had no time as weekends are always purely RL for me but I was so dying to know what it was about).

I think there is YAY on both accounts - DG of course loves UN (and all that stuff "why would I give my love to a loony slave" was nonsense, but I knew that anyways) but it seems that because of the conversations with DG and because of what UN said to him before, TH is also coming round to the idea that the order of things he is so used to has to change. I am afraid to believe how great this conversation is - but I will go as far as to say - both TH and DG are awesome. I never feared for DG, but I feared for TH. But if TH can be a man big enough to change the very foundation of himself, the way he thought of the world before (and well, he was brought up as a big shot and used to be BFF with the Prince) and turn to "the world must change" ideas, this will mean he is even a better man than I thought him to be. Even better than Dam Deok (who also didn't particular try to change the order of servant/master things). I hope this makes sense - I am rambling.

I might turn to "Robbers" as well - I quite liked the beginning but then in a middle it all looked as "rocks fall everyone dies" that I left it.

That is one incredible conversation (the writer is really good). I do love that while TH is awesome, he is also portrayed as a man of his times - it is clear he will love UN no matter what and will start thinking about social change but it wasn't instinctive/automatic for him - how could it be, he was born in 1600s?

I also loved that conversation because (a) it shows both men as intelligent - and neither one in the wrong and (b) it shows that actually despite the initial impression, DG and TH have a lot in common - under other circumstances I could see them getting along well. And it makes it pretty clear that they are going to join forces as soon as the misunderstanding about who was actually killing their friends clears up.

Re: Robbers. Nobody dies in the end :) I was shocked but it's a happy ending and all.

Yes, for me it doesn't take shine off Tae Ha if he doesn't change his beliefs immediately, especially with that Confucianism thing (Thank you! to the awesome translator). TH has Confucianism beliefs and these things aren't easy to drop.

Yes, both men are so good together - I think it was just about time for someone to say "Stop doing what you are doing and get back to changing the world, if your convictions lie this way" to DG. I imagine them having their love/hate relationship and keep bouncing off each otehr if they join the forces. YAY! This drama has come up one level.

BTW, I can't get rid of the conviction that the newcomer guy is Prince Bongrim incognito.
