I speculate on Chuno

Sep 10, 2009 22:48

It's sick how excited I am for Chuno. I can't even concentrate on what I am watching, because I just want to watch Chuno instead. This is sort of a problem, seeing that it won't air for 4 months, at the earliest ( Read more... )

I ALWAYS root for these female social outcasts who love silently

I would normally root for Sul-Hwa but not here as:

a. LDH/JH is basically a drama OTP dream for me, after Robbers (Robbers might have been uneven but they were a killer OTP in that one. *melts just thinking of them*) She is so very fragile-looking and feminine but can come across as with a core of steel and Jang Hyuk is so very...macho. And good at being a cynical and wounded mess desperate for love. Must stop just whipping myself into ever more of a frenzy over Chuno.

she will play two roles, two very different personalities and will have these two men fall in love with her. I cannot wait til the shit hit the fan.

I can just imagine the confrontation(s).

in my lalalalaworld East of Eden never happened that was a drone posing as her

LOLOLOL. I loved EoE but it was a wildly uneven drama and, unfortunately, her character was part of the "not so good" parts. I ended up being a satisfied SSH/Lee Yeon Hee shipper in EoE so on one hand I can't complain, but why they cast someone like LDH and then basically waste her utterly is beyond me. I started watching EoE expecting and anticipated a love story involving LDH but by the time her character left abruptly with no love story or any closure, I was happy she was gone - WTF! That's not good writing.

... they did have plans for her, she signed up for a totally different role and ended up as really the most useless character in K-drama history. You can totally edit East of Eden, take her parts out and still have a story.

That's what happens when the writer walks out in the middle of the project.

Lee Da Hae was severely mismanaged back then, it's a good thing she left her small company for Rain's company.

dangit. I really hope Sul Hwa won't sway me!

I am also annoyed that Oh Ji Ho's rugged makeover is working on me. I'm such a shallow person.

I'm worse.

gurl, I was going, "Oh Ji Ho? He has no screen charisma, he's got a body of a greek god but lacks any kind of appeal to show it off, he has zero depth, he always plays charming losers in the same style of acting, he is no emotional tornado like my Hyuk..."

*sees Chuno beard and sexay, angst-ridden Tae Ha*

"OhmakeoutwithLeeDaHae,plz."

I can sympathize.

I was appalled at the thought of Oh Ji Ho being the one to potentially get the girl over Jang Hyuk. I am with you - I think OJH is gorgeous but wooden. But one set of pics and I turn 180! Yikes.
