Suspicious Heroes - The perfect guy becomes a begrimed, fighting hero because of a lost love? Where do I sign up?

TCotL sounds like such gloriously, cracktastic fluff that I couldn't pass it up even if I wanted to. ;)

Iris sounds sexy. Reading glasses and a gun? I'm so there.

IRIS is my fantasy drama, right there.

Heroes couldn't get better if it tried.

I agree with every one of your choices. I plan to at least check them out. Like you, I have a crush on YJH so I have to check out Jae Joong Won even though I've never watched a kdrama set before the 20th century. Same with Chuno; LDH and JH deserve my support.

I'm currently uninterested in any of the currently airing dramas so I've been catching up on my western fare; Mad Men, Dexter, Weeds, True Blood, Entourage to name a few. Plus, it's TCM's Summer Under The Stars! I get insane about my movie classics.

Simple fact is I watch too much tv.

I love period kdramas so that fact is not deterring me. I just hope JJW won't be 80billion eps. And yay, you like YJH! I thought I was alone! I've been dying for him to do a lead role!

Oh, and I loooove TCM!

The list never ends, does it?
Also looking forward to:
* Take Care of the Lady/My Fair Lady - I like YEH and Jung Il-woo. The second girl was in Brilliant Legacy so I want to see how she fares here.
* You're Beautiful - I'm not completely sold on Jang Geun-sok but I like the premise of the story, plus it's the Hong sisters!

Not a big fan of period dramas but if it's a good production I can give it a try. That's not my reason for looking forward to Jae Joong Won though. Anticipating it because of YJH! ♥

I love YJH and think he is ridiculously underrated. So am so excited for JJW.

My Fair Lady -please please be good!

I'd settle for watchable with IRIS, but there's a part of me that does go 'please, please, please let it be good' all the while wishing I'm not jinxing its chances, for JJH's sake. (LBH doesn't need to prove anything, and KTH is, well, KTH.)

Chuno's plot & cast have piqued my interest (minus OJH), and I'll probably keep an eye on Jae Joong Won as well to see how it works out for Han Hye Jin.

Chuno does sound like it could be very good but OJH is making me nervous - he is a gorgeous man who cannot act. Oh well, we'll see, I've been surprised before by directors/script making wooden actors come across well - Han Chae Young cannot act at all, IMO, but she was good in Delightful Girl Chun Hyang, for the one and only time.

IRIS will hopefully be very very good (please!) I can take Kim Tae Hee or leave her (she is beautiful but a dubious actress) and I am not really the target audience for TOP in any way, but the rest of the cast looks incredibly promising and, like you, I want JJH to have more hits (and for LBH comeback to be a success because maybe it will lure him into more dramas).

JJW sounds like it could be a good solid drama. I haven't seen HHJ in anything (she looks good in stills) so it will be fun to have a first experience.

You never saw HHJ in Jumong? (She played Soseono.) She started out a little green (it was her first sageuk after all) but really grew into the role & did some beautiful subtle work. Will be interesting to see what she does with another period piece.

Kim Tae Hee makes me nervous, but maybe the other girl (Kim So Yeon) can make up for that. I know next to nothing about KSY but still-wise, she seems to exude more 'it' than KTH.

Wow. I must have had a brain freeze - I've seen Jumong and remember Soseono. I guess I did not connect her though because I didn't remember the actress' name and she looks pretty different in modern clothes :)

*feels like a dunce*
