My top 5 drama kisses
So, here is the first of my Top 5s (more Top 5s to come, as I ran out of time). Here are for thirstyneway: who asked for your Top 5 Dorama Kissing Scenes.
1. The kiss scene in ep 23 of Goong.
It's sexy, romantic, perfect and super-important emotionally in terms of plot in one swoop - Shin's barriers are finally down. It's probably my favorite drama kiss, hands down. I even did a picspam of it. And on a shallow level, there is tongue!
2. The kiss in the water in Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake. Once again, it's really hot (is it really a jdrama?) but it's the emotional intensity that makes me swoon. She is a teenage girl dying of AIDS, he is a haunted young composer. She is balancing on a bridge, deciding whether to jump. And then she hears: "Are you planning to jump off? Go ahead. I'll jump after you, as many times as necessary." And it's him and he climbs on the railing a few feet away from her. And she stares at him as if he's Christmas and all her birthdays and Valentine's Day all at once. But because she doesn't want to believe yet again, she yells at him: "I am dying" to let him go away basically. And then. He says: "Then die in my arms." And he tells her: "I will hold you in my arms and I will send you off. You don't have to worry about being alone." And as she continues looking at him incredulously (I think she is utterly stunned), he asks her "Don't you believe me?" and looks at her and jumps into the water. Off the bridge. And she yells his name but of course he surfaces and he looks even hotter wet and she takes a look and jumps in after him. And he swims to her and she is grinning and saying something to the effect of "I guess it's not that easy to die" and then we get the kissing because he leans in and there are extreme close-ups and they are kissing all wet in the water and it's a long, hot, thorough kissand guuuuuh. I need to rewatch KMSD.

3. The kiss/sex in Lovers. I like Lovers but I don't adore it, but that is one of the best kissing scenes out there - he is a mobster trying to go straight, she is a plastic surgeon. He is tormented by his newly found knowledge of his paternity and comes to her room basically seeking to forget everything in just acting out all their hitherto unacted on attraction. And he is devouring her the moment she opens up the door - and then he stops and apologizes but she pauses a bit and tells him she loves him. And it sinks in for him and all of a sudden it goes from (mutual) lust to patience and tenderness and love.
4. The kiss scene in Mars where Ling and Qi Luo are in his kitchen and they get a bit too into it, until she freaks and stops it through the pretext of offering to cook. And he murmurs after her 'I'd like to eat you up.' It's both very sexy and very sweet.

5. In Spring Waltz, their first kiss. He has tried to give her up and push her away because gis best (and only) friend is in love with her and they have just had this horrible fight where he pretended he didn't care for her and then he starts walking away and then...It took me utterly by surprise!
And then he pulls back...
And dives in again. Mmmm. Dead.
